Process
This project grew from my faculty's pain point. Here in Thailand "Creative Technology" is a new concept to most people. We get questions from other students asking what do we study, and how are we much different from other faculties. I created this project to illustrate the capabilities of a Creative Technology student. I gathered most of my colleagues work, created interactive graphics to showcase Art and Science (Coding) working together.
This project taught me how to manage many aspects of creating an exhibition at the same time.
Contacting multiple faculties to set up the exhibition.
On-site surveying and sketching layout.
Holding a workshop to determine space usage and demographic input.
Budgeting and inventory management.
Interactive Touch Designer project
Projection Mapping
Originally, this project was scheduled to be shown during Open Days for Mahidol University. However, due to construction, the location and date has been moved to another location on campus. I packed everything into a box and head over to meet my demographics.
From Dean Chulathida: MUIC Open Day Summary Over the two-day MUIC Open Day event, we welcomed a total of 6,645 visitors — 1,943 on the first day and 4,702 on the second day. (New high)
Getting to speak with my demographic, new students, parents, and teachers was the most important thing. I was able to showcase my project and Creative Technology to over 6000 people onsite. This project has fulfilled it's goal of educating others about the Creative Technology Major.
